Davies keen on new CL season and the "Finale dahoam
Alphonso Davies is eager for the new Champions League season and the "Finale dahoam".
The Canadian international has been one of Bayern Munich's most impressive performers in recent months and is hoping to help the club go all the way in Europe this season.
Davies spoke to reporters ahead of Bayern's Champions League opener against Barcelona on Tuesday and said that he is confident that the team can win the competition.
"We have a strong team and we are all very excited for the new season," he said. "We know that it will be difficult, but we believe that we can win the Champions League."
Davies also spoke about the importance of the "Finale dahoam" to Bayern Munich. The club will host the Champions League final in 2023 and Davies said that it would be a dream to win the trophy in front of their own fans.
"It would be amazing to win the Champions League in front of our own fans," he said. "It would be a dream come true."
Davies has been in impressive form for Bayern Munich this season and has scored two goals in his last three appearances. He will be hoping to continue his good form against Barcelona on Tuesday.
