Kurt Cobains Daughter Wants Her Fathers Legacy To Be About More Than Suicide

Kurt Cobain's Daughter Wants Her Father's Legacy To Be About More Than Suicide

Frances Bean Cobain speaks out about her father's legacy and the importance of mental health awareness.

Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, has spoken out about her father's legacy and the importance of mental health awareness. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Cobain said that she wants her father to be remembered for more than just his suicide.

"I think it's important to remember that my dad was a really good person," Cobain said. "He was a great musician, he was a great artist, he was a great dad. He was just a really good person who was struggling with a lot of things."

Cobain also talked about the importance of mental health awareness, and urged people to seek help if they are struggling with mental health issues. (According to the National Institute of Mental Health, suicide is the second leading cause of death for people aged 10-34.)

"If you're struggling with something, talk to someone," Cobain said. "Don't keep it bottled up inside. There are people who care about you and want to help you."

Cobain's interview comes as the 30th anniversary of her father's death approaches. Cobain was 27 years old when he died by suicide in 1994.

In the years since her father's death, Cobain has become an advocate for mental health awareness. She has spoken out about her own struggles with mental health, and has worked to raise awareness of the importance of seeking help for mental health issues.

Cobain's interview is a reminder of the importance of mental health awareness. If you are struggling with mental health issues, please reach out for help. There are people who care about you and want to help you.
